Registered nurses are tasked with delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective healthcare. As both leaders and integral members of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams, they ensure the provision of care within an environment safe for clients, their families, and all healthcare team members. Comprehensive understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and scope of practice of team members — coupled with proficiency in conflict management, legal and ethical considerations, and advocacy — contributes to a secure healthcare environment.
